Although we are based in the heart of the Shropshire countryside we are central to many attractions including the historic market town of Shrewsbury with its abundance of medieval streets lined with shops, cafes and bars blended with the castle, museums and the Abbey
The medieval town of Ludlow, with its many Michelin starred restaurants and annual food festival making it renowned as Britains gastro capital is only a 20 mile drive, almost close enough to smell the food.
The beautiful city of Hereford is only 35 miles away and boasts the world renowned cathedral which houses the famous Mappa Mundi. Hereford also has a bustling shopping centre set within stunning medieval architecture and surrounding a large square with open air cafes and bars.
For those wanting a more active holiday we are ideally situated to suit most outdoor enthusiasts and family. There are many mountain bike routes to suit all levels from beginners and families to the experienced.
For walkers we are ideally situated on the Offas Dyke Path between Knighton and Newcastle-onClun but also boast many forest trails and countryside walks straight out of the gate and within close vicinity. Within only a 30 minute drive are the famous and beautiful Long Mynd ranges with many walks to suit all abilities. For the more hardcore mountain adventurer we are located central to both the Breacon Beacons, Black Mountains and the Mountains of Snowdonia.
For the high flyers, hang and para gliders facilities are available at Long Mynd Soaring Club and tandem flights and courses can be booked at Church Stretton only a 20 minute drive away.
Or after a hard days walking you could choose to just kick back, relax and take in all that fresh air, whilst taking in the lush surrounding countryside, straight from your traditional farmhouse room.
